Membership Information

The Fairport Harbor Rod & Reel Association accepts applications from fishermen that are Ohio residents.  Only Ohio residents can become members.

The FHRRA holds general membership meetings the third Thursday of every month at 7:30PM at the club grounds located at 1201 High Street.   Meetings include discussions of club business, issues that affect fishing and the club, fishing reports (including locations and successful tactics), and presentations by guest speakers.

The club is run by fishermen for fishermen.  It is not a pleasure boat club nor yacht club.  Sailboats and personal watercraft are not permitted to be launched from the club's ramps nor docked on club premises.

The club offers several types of membership - Regular, Senior, Spousal, and Junior.  The Annual Dues schedule appears on another page on this web site.

Membership requirements include:

Ohio resident

Valid Ohio fishing license

Minimum of eight hours of work annually at the club grounds or at club-sponsored activities

Attendance of at least two monthly meeting per year

Payment of annual dues and applicable fees
